Umesh Thakare

Umesh Thakare is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector with extensive experience in operations and maintenance. Currently serving as Deputy Manager at Virescent Infrastructure since February 2021, Umesh contributes to KKR's renewable energy initiatives in India. Prior experience includes roles as Deputy Manager with Shapoorji Pallonji Group overseeing a 50 MW Solar Park, and Senior Electrical Engineer at Orange Renewable managing a 100 MW Solar plant. Umesh also held positions as Site Incharge at Panama Wind Energy Pvt Ltd and Engineer at Suzlon Energy Ltd, beginning a career that started after earning a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical from D.N.Patel College of Engineering, Shahada, in 2010.
