Lamia Hatira is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management, partnership development, and cross-cultural communication within diverse sectors. As Co-Founder of Fouta Harissa since May 2018, Lamia has been instrumental in creating high-quality hand-loomed textiles that merge Tunisian weaving traditions with Brazilian beach culture. Prior to this role, Lamia served as Director of Global Partnerships for Vento Festival, promoting Brazilian independent music and culture. Lamia also Co-Founded Tempo Collective, a coworking space in São Paulo, and held the position of Project Manager at Centre d'Études Maghrébines a Tunis, where significant projects included the implementation of a major scholarship program. Earlier career experiences include roles at Coxswain Social Investment Plus focusing on sustainability partnerships and working with the Center of Arab Women for Training and Research to develop communication strategies. Lamia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Spanish from Seattle University and a Master's degree in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability from Blekinge Institute of Technology.
