Makarand Nikam is an experienced professional with expertise in mechanical systems design and automation. Currently serving as Project Lead at Fowler Westrup (India) Pvt. Ltd. since January 2020, Makarand oversees product teams and is involved in the preparation of operational method sheets and documentation for design and development. Previous roles include Project Engineer at Symbiosis Skills & Open University, focusing on automated systems and component design, and work as an Assistant Professor at Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering. Makarand's foundational experience includes a technical trainee position at John Deere India Pvt. Ltd., along with additional positions in academia and industry.
