Danielle Dawson

Danielle Dawson is a Digital Reporter at FOX 5 San Diego (KSWB-TV) since January 2023, where responsibilities include writing multiple independently reported stories daily on diverse topics such as politics, environment, business, and breaking news events. Prior to this role, Danielle served as an Investigative Reporting Intern at inewsource, creating in-depth stories on critical issues like COVID-19 and homelessness. Experience also includes positions as City News Co-Editor and Staff Writer for The New University, along with various roles in organizations such as the National Panhellenic Conference and the Office of Congressman Scott Peters. Danielle holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Literary Journalism from UC Irvine.
