Ric Epps

Ric Epps serves as the President of the Academic Senate and a Professor at Imperial Valley College since August 2014, specializing in Political Science and Global Studies. Epps has a robust background in higher education, having previously taught at San Diego State University and UC San Diego, where a focus on Public Administration, International Relations, and American government was maintained. In addition to academic roles, Epps has been a Political Analyst for FOX 5 San Diego since 2010, contributing insights to local news. Epps has also held positions as a Consultant for Cengage, a Visiting Lecturer at the Oxford Study Abroad Programme, and a Program Director at UCLA, where responsibilities included managing academic support for students. Epps holds degrees from UCLA, with studies in Political Science and is a PhD candidate.
