Ruben Galvan

Ruben Galvan currently serves as a Good Day Co-Host at KOVR | CBS News Sacramento since May 2024. Prior to this role, Ruben worked in community relations and video production at ROSALIND from January 2023 to March 2024. Ruben has experience as a Show Producer and Marketer for Military Appreciation Night at Chick-fil-A Restaurants, alongside a tenure as Feature Reporter and Producer at KHOU 11. Additionally, Ruben held the position of Chief Storyteller and Producer at Scientist.com and worked as Freelance Weekend Anchor/Reporter at CW6 - Bay City Television. Ruben’s career in news includes reporting and producing for KPRC, as well as a substantial period at CW6 from 2003 to 2013 as a News/Entertainment Reporter. Ruben earned a degree in Communications with a focus on Broadcast Journalism from the University of Houston between 1996 and 2000.
