Caryn Melvin

Caryn Melvin is a skilled Speech Language Pathologist currently working with FOX Rehabilitation since February 2023 and has an extensive background at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since June 1991. Caryn serves as the Voice Institute Director for the International Association of Laryngectomees, contributing to the Annual Voice Institute's mission of educating speech-language pathologists, graduate students, and health professionals, as well as supporting individuals with laryngectomies and their families. Additionally, Caryn holds academic positions as a Professor at the University of South Carolina since June 1994 and as Affiliated Faculty at Emerson College since July 2019. Caryn earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of South Carolina from 1988 to 1992.
