Irene Blumenthal, PT has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Irene started their career at Hebrew Health Care in 2005 as the Director of Rehabilitation, where they oversaw therapy services in inpatient, outpatient, and homecare settings. Irene was responsible for daily operations, strategic planning, recruitment, budgeting, contract negotiations, and program development. Irene held this position until 2011, managing a team of 26 employees.

In 2011, Irene took on the role of Director, Strategic Projects and Director of Assisted Living Services Agency at Hebrew Health Care. In this position, they planned, executed, and finalized essential projects, coordinated teams and contractors, and ensured successful project completion. Irene also had oversight of operational and financial aspects of four off-site Assisted Living Services Agency sites, including staffing, budgeting, clinical compliance, and quality programs. Irene held this position until 2012 and had four direct reports.

From 2012 to 2016, Irene served as the Vice President of Community Services and the Home Health and Hospice Agency Administrator at Hebrew Health Care. Irene was responsible for overseeing all community service programs, including the Home Health and Hospice Agency, Assisted Living Services Agency, Outpatient Rehabilitation, and Senior Day Center. Irene reported directly to the Hebrew Community Services governing board, provided reports and statistics, and led various committees. Additionally, they served as the Administrator over the Home Health Agency with six direct reports.

In 2016, Irene transitioned to Benchmark Senior Living as the Executive Director, a role they held until 2018. Finally, in 2018, they joined FOX Rehabilitation as the Director of Senior Living Partnerships for CT/MA/NH/RI/NY/ME.

Irene Blumenthal, PT has a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy/Therapist from Quinnipiac University, which they obtained between the years 1995 and 1999. Irene later pursued a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Quinnipiac University between 2001 and 2003. Irene also completed the LeadingAge Leadership Academy Fellowship in 2014. In addition to their education, Irene has obtained certifications as a High Reliability Certified Trainer from CT Hospital Association in December 2015 and in Lean Management in April 2015.
