Henry Kent-Smith is a partner in the Real Estate Group at Fox Rothschild LLP, where Henry has worked since May 2009, specializing in land use and zoning law with extensive experience in commercial real estate and tenant lease negotiations. Previously, Kent-Smith secured land use approvals for over 15 sites for a leading convenience store operator in New Jersey and litigated significant land use cases, including a successful challenge to the COAH Third Round Rules. Prior to Fox Rothschild, Kent-Smith was a partner at Saul Ewing LLP from April 1999 to February 2008, where notable achievements included securing land use approvals for numerous fast food sites, day care centers, hotels, and residential developments, as well as settling Mt Laurel builders remedy lawsuits and achieving a successful zoning challenge resulting in a Supreme Court opinion. Kent-Smith holds a Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in American Government and Politics from the University of Virginia.
