Jacob Walley

Jacob Walley, Ph.D., is a Patent Agent at Fox Rothschild since March 2024, specializing in drafting and prosecuting U.S. patents. Prior to this role, Jacob served as a Patent Law Technical Specialist at Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox from January 2022 to February 2024, where responsibilities included supporting patent prosecution and strategy in the pharmaceutical and chemical sectors, with a focus on FTO analyses and due diligence, as well as collaborating with patent attorneys on complex patent applications related to drug delivery systems and formulation chemistry. Jacob earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Virginia in December 2021, where Jacob also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant from August 2017. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Gardner-Webb University, obtained in 2017, and a high school diploma from Piedmont Community Charter School, graduated in 2013.
