Kanan Sasaki has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. In 2021, they began working as an Engineering Manager and Software Engineer at Foxen. Previously, they were a Software Engineer at Yardi from 2017-2021, where they were the key developer for high-visibility products, including the Flexible Leasing Café software. From 2013-2017, they were a Presentation Editor/Quality Assurance and Software Developer at Visual Ratings, where they utilized Java to develop the presentation generating software and debug programming faults. From 2015-2017, they were a Research Assistant at UCI Cognitive Science Department, where they participated in the production and editing of a secondary school mathematics textbook titled On Meaningful Scientific Laws.
Kanan Sasaki attended Royal High School, where they were the Valedictorian, and later earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from UC Irvine in 2017.
