Andrew Altfest, CFP®

Andrew Altfest, CFP® has been working in the finance industry since 2003. Andrew began their career as an Investment Analyst and Managing Director, Executive Vice President at Altfest Personal Wealth Management. In 2019, they became President and Principal Advisor of Altfest Personal Wealth Management, offering a comprehensive, truly objective approach to wealth management. In 2020, they founded and became CEO of FP Alpha.

Andrew Altfest, CFP® has an extensive educational background. Andrew earned their Bachelor of Arts with Honors in English from Cornell University between 1999 and 2003. Afterwards, they attended Columbia Business School and obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2008. Andrew also attended The Schwab Executive Leadership Program in 2014 and 2015. In addition, they took various personal finance classes at NYU School of Professional Studies, including Estate Planning, Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits, and Fundamentals of Financial Planning. Andrew also attended The Dalton School from 1993 to 1999. Altfest holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER\u2122 certification from CFP Board and the Series 65 certification from Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
