Alessandro Mariani is a highly experienced engineering professional specializing in battery systems for hybrid and electric vehicles. Currently serving as Chief Battery System Project Engineer at FPT Industrial since January 2020, Alessandro has previously held roles such as Technical Specialist High Voltage Battery System at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd and Senior Battery Engineer at AVL, focusing on the optimization of battery pack performance. Additionally, Alessandro has a strong background in research from positions at the University of South Wales and Yuasa Battery Europe Ltd, where research efforts included battery system performance analysis and the development of innovative monitoring techniques. Alessandro holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD in Electrochemistry from the University of South Wales.
