Catlin Mattheis

Catlin Mattheis began their career in 2007 as an intern at REC Solar. In 2008, they founded Burgeon Design and was also an intern at Princeton Plasma Physics Lab. In 2010, they returned to REC Solar as a PV Design Engineer & Sales Engineer. In 2014, they moved to REC as a Senior Engineer New Product Development, where they managed all aspects of internal qualification through TPS manufacturing practices, designed experiments and tested solar modules to external IEC/UL certification standards, and acted as project manager for 450MW+ shipped modules. In 2016, they returned to REC Solar as a Senior Sales Engineer. In 2011, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Fracsun, where the team was deploying their device for the solar PV market.

Catlin Mattheis completed a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 2009. Prior to that, they attended Santa Barbara City College from 2003 to 2006.
