Mihkel Välja

Mihkel Välja is a seasoned Fund Manager and Partner at Trigon Asset Management, where they focus on Eastern European markets. Their career began with a role as an Audit professional at KPMG Estonia from 2014 to 2015 and included experience as a Collection Specialist at BIGBANK AS from 2013 to 2014. Mihkel has been actively engaged as an Angel Investor with various startups since 2019, including eAgronom, FoodDocs, and Remato. They also hold positions on supervisory boards and as a partner at Opus11, with an emphasis on early-stage investments. Mihkel earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Tartu in 2014, following a degree from Hawaii Pacific University.
