Salvador Malo has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Salvador currently serves as the Chief People Officer at Fragomen, a leading provider of immigration-law and advisory services. In this role, they lead the People function and oversees a global team of 6,000 employees. Prior to Fragomen, Salvador worked at Microsoft as the Head of Global HR Strategy, where they played a pivotal role in coordinating HR efforts and generating insights based on best practices. Salvador also served as a Member of the Board of Advisors at The HR Analytics ThinkTank. Salvador's experience at Ericsson as the Global Head of Workforce Analytics allowed him to drive the creation of the company's workforce analytics function and manage HR metrics for over 140,000 employees across 120 countries. Before that, they worked at Egon Zehnder, where they developed business relationships and led HR consulting projects for multinational corporations, focusing on talent management, recruitment, and performance management. Salvador also held positions at Kearney and McKinsey & Co., where they gained experience in strategy consulting and project leadership for global corporations and public organizations.
Salvador Malo holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Cornell University, which they obtained in 1994. In addition to their formal education, Salvador has recently obtained several certifications. Salvador completed the "Cloud Architecture: Advanced Concepts" and "Cloud Architecture: Core Concepts" certifications from LinkedIn in April 2020. Furthermore, in the same month, they also completed the "Machine Learning and AI Foundations: Classification Modeling" certification. Prior to these, in March 2020, Salvador completed the "IoT Foundations: Fundamentals" certification from LinkedIn.
