Ruth Newton Jones

Ruth Newton Jones has a diverse and extensive work experience in the management consulting and fragrance industry. Ruth is currently the Managing Director of RNJ Consultancy Ltd, where they provide consulting services to mid-sized corporates and privately-owned companies, specializing in luxury brands, fragrance, and beauty globally. Previously, they worked as a Management Consultant at Leighton Denny Ltd and held the position of Managing Director (Contract) at Fragrance Group London, where they focused on growing and developing the business by creating new products and expanding the network of retailers and distributors globally. Ruth also worked as a Management Consultant at Phil Smith Be Gorgeous and RNJ Consultancy (U.K) Ltd, where they provided executive coaching to senior city executives. Ruth gained experience in strategy and business development as the Director of Strategy and Business Development (Contract) at Designer Parfums, a company with a portfolio of fragrance brands. Additionally, Ruth had leadership roles as the General Manager at Dolce&Gabbana Fragrance and Beauty UK and General Manager UK at Shiseido. Ruth started their career as the Managing Director at Delbanco Meyer and Co Ltd and later became the Managing Director of Perfumes and Cosmetics UK at LVMH. Ruth Newton Jones attended Rickmansworth Grammar from 1970 to 1977, but did not earn a degree or specify a field of study during that time. Ruth then went on to the University of Nottingham from 1977 to 1981, where they pursued a degree in French and American Studies.
