Marcus Faber has served as a member of the German Bundestag for the Fraktion der Freien Demokraten since September 2017. Prior to this role, Faber held various positions at ZIA Zentraler Immobilien Ausschuss e.V., including Senior Referent and Referent focusing on trade, municipal matters, hotels, logistics, and citizen participation from January 2015 to October 2017. Faber's experience also includes serving as a Referent for Bund-Länder-Koordination and fundamental issues with the FDP Fraktion im Landtag von Brandenburg, and a scientific staff member at the Deutscher Bundestag. Academic credentials include a doctorate in political science and a Diplom in political science from the University of Potsdam, complemented by an exchange semester at the University of Western Sydney. Additionally, early career experiences involved internships at the Bundesministerium des Innern and the Landesvertretung von Sachsen-Anhalt in Berlin.
