Raquel Ochoa Valero

Raquel Ochoa Valero is a seasoned professional in the nuclear engineering and business development sectors, currently serving as Vocal de la Junta Directiva at Sociedad Nuclear Española since March 2025 and as Sales and Business Development Director at Framatome since April 2015, where previous roles included Business Development Manager. Prior experience includes engineering roles at Enusa Industrias Avanzadas, S.A. and Gas Natural Fenosa Engineering, focusing on reactor engineering and thermal calculations, respectively. Raquel has demonstrated leadership as President of Jóvenes Nucleares and General Chair of the International Youth Nuclear Congress. An accomplished academic, Raquel earned a PhD in Nuclear Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, complemented by a Master's in Nuclear Science and Technology and a degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Energy Techniques.
