Jay Padia

Jay Padia has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Jay started their career in 2005 as an Associate Consultant at Oracle Financial Services. Jay then worked as a Visiting Lecturer at Nirma University in 2007. In 2009, they joined Intel as a Software Validation Engineer, where they validated streaming media drivers and collaborated with developers on test plans and content generation. From 2010 to 2014, Jay worked at Intel Corporation as a Media IP Engineer, where they were responsible for implementing media pipeline designs and enhancing video quality algorithms. Jay then joined Vidyo in 2014 as a Software Engineer, specializing in video algorithms for video conferencing. Since 2017, Jay has been working at Frame.io as a Staff Video Engineer, utilizing their expertise in video engineering to contribute to the company's success.

Jay Padia's education history begins in 1996 when they attended A G High School and completed their HSCE degree in Science in 2001. Jay went on to attend the National Institute of Technology Calicut from 2001 to 2005, earning a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering. In 2007, Jay briefly attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, focusing on Image Processing. Finally, they pursued higher education at The University of Texas at Arlington from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
