Rebekka Kohtala has a diverse work experience. Rebekka started their career at Otavamedia as an Intern for Deko-magazine in 2010. Rebekka then worked as a Fashion Editor at Kaupunkilehti Pohjois-Kymenlaakso from 2010 to 2012. In 2011, they joined Hemtex AB as a Salesperson. From 2013 to 2014, Rebekka worked at TouchPoint Oy as a Sales and Marketing Assistant, and later as a Project Coordinator from 2014 to 2017. Since 2017, they have been associated with Framery Acoustics, where they initially worked as a Marketing Coordinator until 2019. In 2019, they became the Customer Marketing Lead, and currently holds the position of Content Marketing Lead.
Rebekka Kohtala obtained a Bachelor of Culture and Arts degree in Design from Xamk - South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences from 2009 to 2012. Rebekka then pursued a Master of Culture and Arts degree in Design with a specialization in Regenerative Design and Media Competence from Lahti University of Applied Sciences from 2016 to 2018. In 2017, they also completed an International Exchange program at Avans University of Applied Sciences, focusing on Design during the International Innovation Week.
