Peter Maris

Peter Maris is a Principal Mechanical Engineer at Plug Power since January 2022, specializing in engineering and consulting services for hydrogen plant development. Previously served as a Senior Engineer at both Plug Power and Frames since 2005, overseeing project planning, engineering budgets, and technical quality during various phases of energy and renewable energy projects. Additionally, Peter Maris operated as a nature photographer from 2009 to 2020, with work featured in numerous publications focused on the wildlife of the Dutch dunes. Earlier career roles include Engineer at Koninklijke Saan and Test Engineer at Webasto. Peter Maris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Inholland University of Applied Sciences.
