Stephen Nixon

Stephen Nixon currently serves as Head of Production for FPS - Pre-Production Services at Framestore since June 2019, following a role as Senior VFX Producer. With significant experience in the visual effects industry, Stephen has previously held positions including VFX Producer at Goodbye Kansas and Puppet Production Manager at LAIKA, LLC. Previous roles encompass VFX Producer and Capture Producer at The Imaginarium Studios, along with FX Department Manager positions at MPC Vancouver and MPC, managing talented VFX artists and delivering notable projects. Stephen has a background as a Lecturer in Film & Television Post Production at the University of York and served as Associate Production Manager for Aardman's animated feature Arthur Christmas. Early career includes VFX Production Coordinator and Art/Matte Dept Coordinator at Weta Digital and freelance editing. Stephen holds an MA in Social & Cultural Theory from the University of Staffordshire.
