Joana Boulay

Joana Boulay is a skilled Directrice artistique VFX at france.tv studio, responsible for maintaining the artistic continuity of virtual sets for the daily series Un Si Grand Soleil since February 2023. In addition, Joana coordinates and validates the artistic direction of virtual visual effects for the same series and other upcoming projects. Joana serves as a pluridisciplinary instructor at Montpellier Ynov Campus, focusing on 3D Animation & Video Game disciplines, and has led workshops in FX makeup and digital painting at various educational institutions. Previous experience includes working as a freelance Concept Artist and as an Enseignant at ARTFX, where Joana taught various artistic subjects in both French and English. Joana holds degrees in digital filmmaking and special effects makeup, complemented by a background in applied arts with a focus on cinema.
