Drew Gower

Drew Gower currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Water Resources Management at Francis Marion University since August 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Maryland, where Drew managed the Dashboard for Agricultural Water use and Nutrient management (DAWN) project from September 2020 to August 2023. Additional academic positions include Adjunct Professor at St. Mary's College of Maryland and Research Assistant at Princeton University, where Drew contributed to projects focused on water availability and agricultural sustainability. Drew's experience also encompasses work as a Program Specialist with the US Forest Service and earlier roles as a Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Small Business Development Volunteer with the Peace Corps. Educational credentials include a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Princeton University, a Master's in Geosciences (Hydrogeology) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia.
