Brittney Washington

Brittney Washington, M.Ed, currently serves as the Second Grade Head Teacher at Francis W. Parker School since July 2021, following a role as Co-Lead Teacher for 1st Grade at Bennett Day School from July 2019 to July 2021. Previously, Brittney worked as an Elementary School Teacher at Kansas City Public Schools, focusing on 3rd and 5th Grade ELA, after participating in the Kansas City Teacher Residency where extensive coaching and support were provided. Early career experiences include roles as Lead Toddler Teacher at Educare Academy, Floor Teacher at The Learning Club, and Residential Staff/Case Manager at Lutheran Homes Family and Youth Services. Brittney holds a Master of Education in Urban Education from Park University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Women's Studies from The University of Toledo.
