Bill Griffin joined Francisco Partners Consulting (FPC) in 2022 as an Operating Partner, Sales.

Bill is a multi-time CRO leading large-scale, global sales and marketing organizations in both private and public company contexts. He most recently served as CRO for Bright Machines, a software and robotics company focused on automation applications for manufacturing. Prior to Bright Machines, he was EVP of Field Operations of Aspen Technology (AZPN) where his team successfully transitioned the customer base of large oil, gas, and chemical companies from perpetual software to SaaS. This resulted in Aspen Technology becoming one of the most profitable SaaS companies in all of NASDAQ. Bill was instrumental in building world-class Channel Programs and Partner\Alliance networks at Autodesk (ADSK), where he was named CRN Channel Chief and a "Rising Star" by the Global Technology Distribution Council. He has extensive experience in direct sales models, the modern CRM, and the sales technology stack. Earlier in his career, Bill gained foundational sales and marketing experience when he joined Xerox and progressed through the organization, eventually assuming the role as GM for the Global Financial Services sector.
