Gianluca Mapelli

Gianluca Mapelli is an accomplished operations executive with extensive experience in manufacturing and project management. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Franke since January 2018, Gianluca previously held the role of Operations Director for the Business Unit Hoods at Faber S.P.A. from April 2016 to December 2017. Prior to that, a significant tenure at Safilo spanned from January 2001 to March 2016, where Gianluca advanced through various leadership roles, including Plant Director and General Manager. Earlier career experiences include positions at OTIS as Contract Project Manager and at TOX Pressotechnik as Sales Engineer. Gianluca holds a Laurea in Ingegneria Aeronautica from Politecnico di Milano, complementing a solid educational foundation with a Liceo Scientifico diploma.
