Frankel, LLC is currently looking for a Staff Accountant to join our Client Accounting Services department.

Who we’re looking for:

  • 2-5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and/or business operations

  • Post high-school accounting coursework or training a plus

  • Experience with transactional accounting: accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, invoicing, and other transactional functions

  • Experience with closing year ends and preparing financial statements

  • Enjoys client interaction and providing advisory services to implement process improvements

  • Familiar with basic accounting concepts

  • Experience with all versions of QuickBooks (Desktop and Online)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Exemplary customer service skills

  • Strong technical and software skills

  • Desire to build and maintain client relationships

What’s the job?

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with clients to perform bookkeeping functions

  • Trouble-shooting and creative problem-solving

  • Account reconciliation for clients

  • Entering financial data and transactions into the ledger

  • Reviewing financial documents for accuracy and account reconciliation for clients

  • Process payroll, account receivables, and accounts payable

  • Preparation and review of payroll, sales & personal property taxes

  • Assist with and analyze complied financial statements

  • Become a trusted resource and advisor to clients, while making process improvement recommendations
