The Frankfort Plant Board (FPB) was created in 1943 as a municipal utility to provide low cost electric and water utility service to the citizens of Frankfort and Franklin County.  Much has changed in the 60+ years since FPB opened its doors: Frankfort has more than doubled in size, technology has advanced infinitely, and FPB has grown into a total home solution resource for Cable TV, Local Telephone, High Speed Internet and more. 

Throughout these changes, FPB has remained close to the ever-expanding Franklin County community. Because of this tight bond, FPB has been able to focus on the needs of local families, using new technology to provide a variety of dependable services at prices among the lowest in the nation.  

FPB's focus on Frankfort doesn't stop at great services, however, as FPB strives to promote the community itself.  Our Community TV channel on Expanded Basic Cable, "FPB TV" showcases the best of Franklin County.  Area events are highlighted, creating an entertaining and informative view of the community.  FPB also brings home the passion of local sports on Game of the Week, the exclusive high school football & basketball coverage that rivals most national sportscasts, using multiple cameras, instant replay and more.
