Ryan Hunton serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Kentucky and a Physician Assistant in the Army National Guard. Currently, Ryan is also an Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Prior experience includes roles as a Field Surgeon and Medical Provider with V Corps, a Simulation Instructor at Poznan University of Medical Sciences, and a Clinical Operations Officer with the 1st Infantry Division. Ryan's military career spans various positions in the Army National Guard and includes extensive roles from Staff Physician Assistant to Treatment Platoon Leader. Academically, Ryan holds a Doctor of Health Sciences degree from A.T. Still University and has completed multiple degrees from the University of Kentucky and Western Kentucky University, including a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in News/Editorial Journalism.
