Cliff C.

Cliff C. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Cliff started their career in 2000 as a Lead Security Guard at ACTS Retirement-Life Communities, Inc., where they specialized in modifying HVAC units to accommodate the building's electrical generator. In 2007, Cliff joined Sussex County AUXCOMM as a Digital Technology Officer. Cliff then worked as an Academic Support Assistant and Educational Training Specialist - HVAC at DTCC-Workplace Development-ITPC from 2020 to 2021, where they facilitated hybrid courses for high school and adult students on various subjects. In 2016, Cliff took on the role of BPI Certified Infiltration & Duct Leakage Technician at Atrix Sustainable Improvements LLC, where they performed blower door tests, energy audits, and created computer models of homes. At DTCC-Owens, Cliff served as an Academic Support Assistant and Educational Laboratory Specialist in 2017 and 2016, respectively, providing maintenance and setup of training equipment and assisting instructors and students. Prior to that, they gained experience as a DDC Controls Technician Intern at Envirotrols Group, Inc. in 2015 and as a Peer Tutor at DTCC-Owens from 2014 to 2015. Currently, Cliff is working as a Success Coach at Franklin Apprenticeships, a position they assumed in 2022.

Cliff C. has a diverse education history. Cliff started their education journey by attending Sussex County Vocational Technical Center from 1989 to 1991, where they pursued High School Vocational Training with a focus on Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Following this, they enrolled in the Penn Foster Group where they obtained a Diploma of Education in Programming in COBOL in 1993.

In 2001, Cliff attended James H Groves Adult High School, where they completed their High School education. During this time, their field of study was not specified.

Cliff then pursued further education at Delaware Technical and Community College-Owens. From 2013 to 2017, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Renewable Energy-Solar, and from 2013 to 2016, they earned another Associate's Degree in Energy Management.

In addition to their formal education, Cliff has also obtained various certifications to enhance their professional skills. These certifications include "Introducing z/OS UNIX System Services" and "z/OS REXX Programming" from IBM, "Introduction to Technical Support" from Coursera, "Cybersecurity Fundamentals" from SkillsBuild Training, and "Introduction to Cybersecurity Tools & Cyber Attacks" from Coursera, among others. These certifications were obtained between 2020 and 2023, indicating their commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
