Dan Shook

Dan Shook serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Franklin County Children Services since April 2020, bringing extensive experience in financial management and oversight. Previously, Dan held the position of Senior Vice President and CFO at the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption from February 2017 to April 2020, where responsibilities included managing cash and investment portfolios, administration of salary and benefits, and annual budgeting. Dan's career also includes significant roles at the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, advancing from Deputy Director to Assistant Deputy Director, overseeing substantial budgets and operations. Dan Shook earned an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of the Southwest and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Ohio University.
