Daniel Joyner

Daniel Joyner is an experienced law enforcement professional currently serving as a Detective and former Deputy Sheriff at the Franklin County Sheriff's Office since August 2016. Prior to this role, Daniel worked as a Police Officer in Patrol Services for the City of Rocky Mount from February 2015 to July 2016. Daniel's diverse background also includes managerial experience at Chick-fil-A, community impact coordination with United Way Tar River Region, and outreach leadership at Harrison Family YMCA. Earlier positions included IT/Billing at Freedom Industries and Youth Pastor at Parkwood Baptist Church. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary alongside a background in Communication from Appalachian State University.
