Christopher Whitlow

County Administrator at Franklin County, Virginia

Christopher Whitlow has extensive experience in local government administration, currently serving as County Administrator for Franklin County, Virginia, since May 2004. In this role, Christopher performs at the highest level of county leadership in one of Western Virginia's fastest-growing localities. Prior positions include Interim County Administrator and Deputy County Administrator for the City of Roanoke, where responsibilities encompassed economic development studies and project management. Additional experience includes serving as City Planner for the City of Martinsville and Town Planner roles in both Rocky Mount and Bridgewater, Virginia. Christopher holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration and Political Science from James Madison University, multiple Master's degrees in Public Administration from Virginia Tech, and certifications from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and the University of Oklahoma.
