Catherine Collins

Catherine Collins has extensive legal experience in corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial transactions. Currently serving as Associate General Counsel at Franklin Electric since August 2011, Collins is responsible for SEC disclosures, including the preparation of the Proxy Statement and liaising with the Board of Directors. Collins leads acquisition teams in target review, negotiation, and post-close integration, while also drafting various contracts and providing compliance advice to business leaders. Previously, Collins held the position of Assistant Corporate Counsel and Corporate Compliance Officer, advising employees and identifying risks within the organization. Earlier experience includes working as a Legal Consultant at NRP Financial from January 2010 to February 2011. Collins holds a Bachelor's Degree in History from The George Washington University and a Juris Doctor from Ohio Northern University—Claude W. Pettit College of Law.
