Kyler Boots

Kyler Boots is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in product development and continuous improvement. Currently serving as an Engineering Technician at Franklin Electric since July 2023, Kyler previously held the role of Product Engineer at Smith Brothers Of Berne, Inc., where collaboration with engineering, marketing, and production teams was pivotal. Prior experience includes a Continuous Improvement Intern position at Fort Wayne Metals, where Kyler utilized Excel for various efficiency projects and design improvements. Kyler also served as an Engineering Intern at Smith Brothers Of Berne, Inc., focusing on 3D part creation and plant layout revisions, and began a career as a Shop Assistant at Design Facts, gaining practical skills in design and production processes. Kyler earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University Fort Wayne in 2019.
