Philip Gilman

Philip Gilman is an experienced fire service professional currently serving as a Fire Apparatus Engineer and Firefighter for the City of Omaha since January 2019. Additionally, Philip has held the position of Engineering Technician IV at UL Research Institutes since November 2018. Philip's background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Administration from Eastern Kentucky University and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from Iowa Central Community College. Philip's career also features roles such as EMT for Estill County EMS, Wildland Fire Fighter for the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, and various leadership and support positions during academic tenure.
