Jinal S.

Jinal S. has extensive work experience in the compliance field. They started their career in 2007 as a Company Secretary at A.K. STOCKMART PRIVATE LIMITED. In 2008, they moved to HDFC AMC and worked in the compliance department until 2013. Since 2013, Jinal S. has been working at Franklin Templeton India, starting as a Senior Executive and gradually progressing to Assistant Manager, Compliance Manager, and Senior Compliance Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Vice President Compliance at Franklin Templeton India.

Jinal S. began their education in 2000 at Jai Hindu jobs, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Business/Commerce. They completed their degree in 2005. In 2003, Jinal S. enrolled in The Institute of Company Secretaries of India and obtained a professional qualification in Business/Commerce, which they completed in 2005. Between 2006 and 2008, Jinal S. attended Govt. Law College to pursue a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law. In terms of additional certifications, Jinal S. obtained various certifications from LinkedIn in areas such as managing high performers, transitioning from an individual contributor to a manager, new manager foundations, GDPR compliance, crash course on practical aspects of ICSI standards, creative thinking, communicating with diplomacy and tact, developing emotional intelligence, learning GDPR, critical thinking, giving and receiving feedback, interpersonal communication, managing a career as an introvert, and transitioning from manager to leader. They also received an Investment Foundation certification from the CFA Institute. Furthermore, Jinal S. plans to pursue an International Qualifying program in Corporate Governance from The Chartered Governance Institute of Canada, starting in 2023.
