Alfredo Rios

Alfredo Rios currently serves as the Director of Institutional Sales for Latin America & the Caribbean at Franklin Templeton, having joined the company in September 2025. Prior to this role, Alfredo Rios spent nearly 18 years at Western Asset Management as a Client Service Executive, where responsibilities included sales, client services, and advising on investment management strategies across global fixed income asset classes, with a focus on establishing relationships in Latin America (excluding Brazil) and selected Caribbean nations. Earlier positions include Vice President roles at U.S. Trust, focusing on high-net-worth families and institutional investors, and BBVA in fixed income portfolio management. Alfredo Rios has also held the title of Vice President at Citi, working on Latin American cross-border investments and previously as a Financial Advisor. Alfredo Rios began a career in finance at J.P. Morgan as a Sales Trader in emerging markets. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Finance from Brandeis School of Business and Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
