George Stephan

George Stephan currently serves as the Global COO for Wealth Management Alternatives at Franklin Templeton since October 2024. Prior to this role, George held significant positions at KKR, including Head of Strategy and Business Development for Global Client Solutions, and COO for Americas Global Wealth from September 2019 to October 2024. George's earlier experience includes serving as Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, where responsibilities included leading Single Manager Hedge Funds, as well as a role in Alternative Investments at Oppenheimer & Co. George holds a Dual MBA in Finance and Management, awarded in 2010, along with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from Wagner College. George completed high school at Culver Military Academy.
