Previously, Gunkel operated a personal design business from November 2009 to April 2022, specializing in brand strategy, identity development, and various graphic design services. With experience as an Art Director at Flint Group of Agencies and a Visual Designer and Design Thinking Bootcamp Facilitator at North Dakota State University, Gunkel has contributed significantly to brand development and educational initiatives.
