Kim Yaris

Kim Yaris has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Kim is currently working as a Content Creator/Researcher at FranklinCovey since July 2022. Previously, they worked at Literacy Builders for a significant part of their career. Kim held multiple roles at Literacy Builders, including Professional Learning Specialist, Executive Director, and Curriculum Developer. In these roles, they conducted professional learning sessions for teachers, developed curriculum resources, and maintained strong relationships with schools and districts. Before joining Literacy Builders, Kim worked as a Classroom Teacher at The Pine School. Kim developed a comprehensive English Language Arts curriculum and implemented various instructional methods. Kim also has experience as a Writer and Blogger, where they co-created a blog providing educators with practical information about the Common Core English Language Arts standards. Kim started their career as a Classroom Teacher at Lloyd Harbor Elementary School and Wampatuck Elementary School, where they focused on developing engaging curriculum and utilizing digital resources. Overall, Kim Yaris has extensive experience in instructional design, professional learning, curriculum development, and classroom teaching.

Kim Yaris completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the State University of New York at Oswego, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. In 1993, they pursued a Masters Degree in Reading from the University of New Hampshire, completing it in 1994.
