Paul Poulsen

Paul Poulsen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Paul started their career in 1991 with the US Army as a Communications Intelligence specialist. Following that, they worked as a Corporate Trainer at Applebee's from 1992 to 1993. Paul then joined The Slaymaker Group, Inc. as a General Manager, where they managed a large staff and handled various operational aspects of restaurant operations from 1996 to 2000.

In 2000, they transitioned to Premier: A FranklinCovey Company, where they worked as a Leadership Consultant, directing sales, marketing, and product development in a regional territory until 2001. Paul then moved to FranklinCovey and took on various roles including Senior Client Partner, Senior Training & Development Partner, and ERP Implementation Partner. From 2008 to 2017, they served as an Area Director/Senior Client Partner, overseeing sales management, marketing, and product development for a 16-state region within the Education Solutions North America Group.

In recent years, Paul has held positions such as Senior Business Partner/Managing Partner, Field Sales Technology Manager, and Senior Partner-Business Development at FranklinCovey. Their most recent role is that of a Sales Systems Administrator, starting in March 2022. Paul has demonstrated expertise in sales, training, business development, and project management throughout their career.

Paul Poulsen began their education at Meadowbrook High School, where they attended from 1984 to 1988. After high school, they briefly studied Communications at Virginia Commonwealth University in 1988. In 1991, they attended John Tyler Community College, focusing on Business studies for a year. Finally, Paul pursued higher education at Brigham Young University from 1994 to 1996, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in History and a minor in Geography.
