Zach Milan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Zach is currently working as a Software Engineer at FranklinCovey, where they have been since January 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Junior Software Engineer at FranklinCovey starting in April 2021.

Before joining FranklinCovey, Zach worked as a Junior Software Engineer at Strive, a startup focused on leadership training, from January 2021 to April 2021. Zach was also a Junior Developer and Advisor at SendSwag, a creative app startup, from January 2020 to January 2021.

In 2020, Zach attended General Assembly's Software Engineering Immersive program, where they completed over 500 hours of coursework and gained skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node, Express, Git, GitHub, Python, and Django.

Prior to their career in software engineering, Zach worked in sales roles. Zach was a Sales Executive at Unify Labs, a SAAS company for the cannabis industry, from February 2020 to May 2020. Zach also worked as a Sales Executive at Polymath Consulting, a marketing tool for authors, from August 2019 to February 2020.

Zach's earlier experience includes roles in the cannabis industry. Zach worked at Botanico Inc, a boutique retail cannabis store, where they started as a Budtender in February 2016 and eventually became a General Manager. Zach held various management positions at Botanico Inc, including Purchasing Manager and Manager, until July 2019.

In addition to their professional work, Zach also has experience as an author. Zach self-published a full-length novel called "Skyline" in 2016, along with a short story titled "Stolen Legacy" published in an anthology in 2014.

Prior to their professional career, Zach worked at DailyCandy as part of the Client Services team from May 2010 to June 2011, managing campaigns for West Coast clients. Zach also worked in print and online advertising at DC Comics, managing ad campaigns for over 75 comic books from June 2007 to May 2010.

Zach Milan's education history includes attending General Assembly in 2020 for a Software Engineering Immersive program. In 2002, they started studying at Azusa Pacific University and completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Cinema and Broadcast Arts with a Narrative emphasis in 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Zach Milan has also obtained additional certifications. In September 2020, they became a Triplebyte Certified Front End Engineer through Triplebyte. Furthermore, in July 2021, they completed the Strive Leadership Development program offered by Strive.
