Nader Sharifi

Nader Sharifi is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in addiction medicine and correctional health. Since 2015, Nader has served as the National Advisor for Opioid Agonist Treatment and Correctional Health Physician for the Government of Canada. Concurrently, Nader has held the position of Addiction Medicine Physician at Fraser Health Authority since March 2021 and has been associated with Valley Oak Clinic since 2012. Previous roles include Addiction Medicine Lead and Medical Director at the Provincial Health Services Authority and Correctional Health Physician for BC Corrections. Nader's medical education includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physiology from The University of British Columbia.
