Fraser Health Authority
Steeven Toor is a dedicated community health professional with extensive experience in mental health advocacy and operations management. Currently serving as a Municipal Community Health Specialist for Fraser Health Authority, Steeven also co-founded and presides over Punjabi Resilience and Empowerment in Mental Health, where significant initiatives include organizing mental health events and conferences across major Canadian cities. Additional contributions involve co-producing and co-directing the film "Uproar," which addresses the impacts of Bill 21 in Quebec. Previous experience includes managing Toor Drapery & Blinds Ltd. as Senior Manager, interning at BC Mental Health and Substance Use Services with a focus on family-centered care, and advocating for medical students during tenure with the University of Calgary Students' Union. Steeven holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from Queen's University and a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences (Honours) from the University of Calgary.
