Lead, Health Care Information Systems at Fraser Health Authority

Vince Thai has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in the field of information systems. Vince started their career at AT&T in 1997 as a Tech Support/Floor Supervisor, where they worked until 2000. Vince then joined the Department of Justice - Manitoba as an IT Consultant, where they designed and implemented a criminal database system and provided application development support. In 2005, Vince moved to Vancouver Coastal Health as a Senior Systems Analyst, working on the PCIS Team until 2011. During this time, they also worked at Provincial Health Services Authority, where they held the role of Senior Systems Designer Analyst for the Perioperative Team. Vince was responsible for maintaining and enhancing the regional OR system, developing custom reports, analyzing data for hospital sites, and integrating systems. Since 2018, Vince has been working at Fraser Health Authority as the Lead for Health care information systems.

Vince Thai received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Manitoba in 1998. Vince also completed the Co-op Program in Computer Science at the University of Manitoba starting in 2000. Additionally, Vince has obtained various certifications in areas such as Cerner Fundamentals, Crystal Reports, Java Workshop, MSSQL Administering Database, and several others.
