Kristin Ledford is currently the Director of Communications at FRASER PUBLIC SCHOOLS. Prior to that, they worked as a Communications Specialist for Macomb County Government from July 2013 to February 2015, where they were the primary media contact and agency spokesperson. In this role, they also lead wrote and designed internal and external communications, such as press releases, media advisories, newsletters, brochures, and programs.

Under Ledford's direction, the team increased social media engagement, resulting in 240% increase in Facebook likes and established Twitter presence. Kristin also introduced a 5K run to existing Walk for Warmth event, which increased participation and number of sponsors. In addition, they directed the team to plan and coordinate Office of Senior Services events to bring together various community partners and older adults. Ledford represented the agency on multiple County-wide committees and supervised the Communications and Outreach Specialist.

From June 2011 to July 2013, Ledford worked as a Freelance Reporter for Charleston Newspapers. And from April 2015 to November 2015, they served as Marketing Coordinator for Corporate Dining Concepts.

Kristin Ledford began their educational career at Mount Clemens High School. Kristin then went on to study journalism at Oakland University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree.
