Currently serving as a Non Executive Director at Frasers Group and Chair of HS2 Ltd, Jonathan oversees Britain's largest infrastructure project, facilitating connectivity between major cities. Prior roles include Chief Executive Officer at the Financial Reporting Council, where significant transformations were implemented, and CEO of HM Revenue & Customs, achieving record tax revenues. Previous positions encompass serving as Permanent Secretary at the UK Ministry of Defence, Director General at the Department for Education, and Director of Finance at Ofsted. Jonathan’s career began at EY, where financial consulting was conducted for various local authorities and health organizations. An alumnus of Anglia Ruskin University, Jonathan brings a wealth of expertise in governance, finance, and organizational strategy.
